BE KIND.  BE STRONG.  BE FREE.

What I Offer

All curious human movers are welcome!

Yoga is for all shapes, sizes, backgrounds and identities and all levels of experience.

My classes, trainings and private sessions are mindfulness centered, well-rounded, noncompetitive and taught respectfully with an eye toward fostering long-term well-being.

I Offer In-person, Online and On-demand Classes

Hybrid classes:
  • Students taking class in person don’t see the computer screen, and students taking class online don’t see in-studio students. Everyone gets to see and hear the teacher!
  • Hybrid classes are a flexible option, the best of both worlds!
Online classes — class via an internet connection!
  • Take class anywhere with a computer, tablet or cell phone and an internet connection!
  • Classes are offered through the Zoom online meeting platform for security and ease.
  • Preregister — online classes require preregistration so that you can receive the class link.
  • See our “Online Class How To” instructions for more details!
On-demand classes — take class anytime you would like!
  • Take class anywhere with a computer, tablet or cell phone and an internet connection!
  • Classes are available on our scheduling and payment software under the “video” section — you can access them anytime with a video membership.
  • Currently, there are many classes of various lengths and foci.
  • I will keep adding to the on-demand library as time goes on.

Getting Started

What should I wear for practicing yoga?
  • Breathable, comfortable clothing that can stretch is the best clothing for practicing yoga.
  • Layers are helpful in regulating body temperature throughout class.
Safety
  • If you are experiencing any injuries or conditions, please check with your health-care provider before attending class.
  • Let me know if there is anything you would like me to know to help you navigate your practice in a way that supports your well-being.
  • If you think that you may be pregnant, please let me know before practicing with me.
  • Please practice in a way that clearly feels good in your body. If you are unsure, maybe change the pose or move in another way to see if that will feel clearly good in your body. You are also always encouraged to take a breath and rest and then come back into the practice when you are ready. Sometimes just pausing for a moment helps us get clear about what is feeling good and what isn’t.
Yoga Style

I ground my teachings in respect for the historical lineage of yoga and evidence-based movement science. All classes include a non-religious practice of: asana (poses), pranayama (breath work), mindful movement and the exploration of topics related to the other classical 8 limbs of yoga: ethical precepts, focusing techniques, relaxation practices, and meditation.

I hope to see you in class soon!
